On its second annual Big Hike, the Black Hawk Hiking Club traveled to Sinsinawa and Prairie due Chien in Wisconsin; Winona, Lake Pepin, St. Paul, Lake Minnetonka, and Hastings in Minnesota; and Waterloo and Tama in Iowa.

The Black Hawk Hiking Club series, 1920-1939 and undated, consists of images of various hike activities, such as cooking over a campfire and making camp, and images of various locations from local and Big Hikes. Most notable are an image of the club's very first hike and its Big Hikes to the Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls, Colorado and Mexico. Also included are several images depicting lyrics to the club's songs.

Most prominent are Hauberg's siblings (Amelia, Emma, Anna, Rosena, Louis, Elnora and Ada) and their families. There are also several family portraits from Marx Detlev Hauberg's 80th birthday and his wife, Anna's golden wedding anniversary. This subseries also includes some images from Hauberg Reunions.
